Guide Dog Fun Run Results
Saucony's second annual Guide Dog fun runs took place on Saturday 18th July 2009 as part of the amazing Guide Dogs Experience Day at the National Agricultural Centre in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. The runners were certainly grateful that conditions this year were somewhat cooler and this coupled with a flat course through beautiful countryside provided a great back-drop to the two distances.
Billy Leason (pictured) was first across the line for the 5k in a time of 25.18, beating three members of his family in the process!
Andrew Taylor triumphed over the longer distance, winning the 10k in 40.12 from Ian Gower and Amaritpal Uppal. First Lady went to Jenny Jeeves.
Over £20000 has already been raised through the Fun Runs alone, Saucony are proud to support the Guide Dogs, and our sponsored pup "Jazz" met with members of the Saucony team for the first time on Saturday - more on this later.
Thanks to all participants and supporters for your efforts and contributions. See you all next year!
