Saucony Product Issues
Every year Saucony make hundreds of thousands of pairs of shoes, so unfortunately there will be a very small percentage
that don't come up to scratch. If you have a problem with your shoes which you believe is due to a manufacturing
fault, please take your shoes back to the store you purchased them from. In many cases this is the quickest way of us being able to
assess and rectify the problem. If the shop agrees, they may replace the shoes immediately or return them to our technical department
for inspection. You would normally expect to hear from us in a couple of weeks.
A couple of FAQ's:
1. In almost all cases, its best to take your shoes back to the store you purchased them from, since not only is this the correct legal method, assistants in Running specialists are usually just that, specialists! They can see you and your shoes as one, which makes it a lot easier to avoid and rectify any problems that may occur. Its not that we don't care, quite the opposite, they can do a better job in person than we can by phone or email!
2. The chamber in all our Grid Cushioned shoes is non-pressurised, and therefore a "puncture" does not affect its performance. The cushioning is actually provided by the hytrel strands - the Grid - that you can see through the bottom of the heel, which works like a tennis racket. We use this system specifically because it is much more durable than a fluid or air bag, and also because it offers a more stable form of cushioning than alternatives.
